Travel day LA to Beijing

So I know I haven't posted in a while but honestly there hasn't been a whole lot to post about. I was sick when I arrived and my friends Tony was just starting to get sick so tourist activities were minimal. He drove me down to a beach on the San Diego County line on Monday do I got a little beach and Sun time in, them we had a delicious dinner with his aunt and uncle at their house. The next day Tony was even sicker so I spent most the day applying to jobs, doing laundry (dryers rule), and making sure I have plenty to read on my kindle. To make up for his untimely illness, Tony took me to the best Chinese I have ever had.  Think hand rolled lo mein noodles. I wish Durham had a place like that. 
Now I'm sitting in LAX (which smells like vomit and had the slowest lines yet) and waiting to board my 13 hour flight to Beijing.  Which is starting to happen now.
